Flux #53 | June Monthly Review
Hello friends,
Tomis here again with a brief June review — not brief because there isn’t much going on — brief because we want to get back to it!
Holochain MVP Almost Ready
We’ve been testing the MVP of our Holochain app internally for a couple of weeks and are very close to having the last major kinks smoothed out and some basic user experience details in place.
This version of the application is going to be fairly basic in functionality, but don’t let that fool you — developing on Holochain can be pretty speedy once you get the basic structure in place and we are excited about what we can create in the coming months. We will be finalizing our plans for sharing the app and requesting support for expanded testing.
Crowdfunding Perks Going Out Soon
For all of you who supported our crowdfunding campaign this year, we are happy to announce that t-shirts and hoodies are getting a fresh design upgrade and will be shipping out at the end of the month. We appreciate you all and are excited to get you some new Junto swag ASAP.
Centralized App
We’ve managed to finish fixing nearly all of the bugs we have had logged for the centralized mobile app. Push notification failures have been refactored on the back end but need to be finished up on the front end. After that, we’ll be reviewing and prioritizing a couple more features for the centralized app before shifting the rest of our engineering resources to the Holochain app.
Folks, that’s all for now, but keep your eyes and ears our because we are likely to be sharing more about how to test our Holochain MVP before the next monthly review would be out.
We hope you’re having a lovely summer so far!
Cheers,
Tomis
